The Character Counts crew was greeted by Mr. Vicken Sosikian, a Chamlian alumnus and the CFO of Ascencia. He spoke to the students about the mission of the shelter and expressed his gratitude for the donations. He shared that donations like the one from the Chamlian family, allows the shelter to continue to serve those in need.
Ascencia assists over 1,200 homeless men, women and children each year and with the 40-bed emergency housing program, they provide a safe temporary shelter for over 200 individuals annually. Your support will enable the shelter to provide their clients’ most basic needs.
