Welcome

Chamlian promotes a strong relationship between the school, the parents, and the students, encouraging everyone to work collaboratively as an integrated team.

The Parent Support Committee (PSC) is a very active group of dedicated and committed parents who are involved in many areas of the school, from fund-raisers to planning and serving lunch. Various committees work under the leadership of the Parent Support Committee such as the “Healthy Minds, Healthy Bodies” committee, the Safety Committee, and the Dad’s Club.

Communication with parents is of paramount importance and as such, various electronic media are used to keep the communication lines open and accessible. Parents have online access to their children’s homework, grades, the lunch menu, signing up for volunteer opportunities, the calendar of events, and other timely information.

The Parental Involvement Program (PIP) requires 40 hours of service hours per family, and is designed to encourage parents to actively participate in their child’s education. Volunteer service opportunities are posted online for convenient access to parents.
