Position Overview:

Chamlian Armenian School is a dynamic National and California Blue Ribbon School seeking passionate, skilled, and forward-thinking educators to join our faculty. Teacher Responsibilities:

Instruction and Curriculum

Deliver engaging, rigorous, and developmentally appropriate instruction
Design and implement curriculum aligned with grade-level standards and schoolwide learning goals
Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
Integrate technology, digital literacy, and age-appropriate AI-supported tools to enhance learning
Foster critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and problem solving
Use assessment data to monitor student progress and inform instruction

Classroom Culture and Student Development

Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
Build strong, positive relationships with students that promote confidence and curiosity
Support students’ social-emotional growth and character development
Maintain clear routines, expectations, and consistent communication

Professional Collaboration and Growth

Collaborate with colleagues across grade levels and disciplines
Participate actively in professional development, faculty meetings, and reflective conversations
Contribute to interdisciplinary learning experiences and schoolwide initiatives
Remain open to innovation, feedback, and continuous professional growth

Family and Community Partnership

Communicate clearly and professionally with families
Partner with parents as collaborators in student learning
Participate in school events and community life as a member of the Chamlian family

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
Teaching experience preferred
Strong understanding of instructional best practices and student development
Comfort and curiosity with educational technology and emerging instructional tools
Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Commitment to Chamlian’s mission, values, and community culture
