Our 4th graders had the opportunity to get first hand and behind the scenes knowledge of their English language curriculum about moviemaking. Chamlian alumni and parents Mrs. Yvette Amirian and Mr. Ara Soudjian as well Mr. Hrach Titizian visited our 4th Grade students! Through an informative Q & A session designed by our students,
our guests were asked questions about production, writing, casting, shooting and post-production which includes editing, sound design, and color correction processes. Our guest speakers answered questions about the movie/film industry each from their own unique perspective giving our students insight on the work and planning that goes into these amazing projects — as well as knowledge in creative writing, calculation, and cooperation! 6th-8th grade students received their 1st Semester Principal's Honor Roll Certificates in a virtual ceremony! We are very proud of each and every one of you for this great accomplishment. Our 4th grade scientists enjoyed a special guest visit via Zoom by Ms. Gasia Bedrosian, Lead Integration and Test Manager for Coronagraph Instrument (CGI) at the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory! The Chamlian spirit of unified effort, cooperation, and dedication to our Homeland was once again displayed as our benevolent Chamlian families donated to the Armenian Relief Society’s Christmas Toy Drive for the displaced children of Artsakh. This worthwhile cause would not have been possible without your commitment and support.

We thank you for your generous donations which have been presented to the Armenian Relief Society on behalf of Chamlian Armenian School. Our combined efforts raised $8,925! This amount will contribute to the toy drive and will help ensure that thousands of displaced children from Artsakh have a smile on their faces as they enjoy Christmas gifts this year.

Our 6th Grade National Elementary Honor Society students had a wonderful time spending the evening reading Christmas stories and connecting with our Kindergarten - 2nd grade students at the Virtual Christmas Story Reading Night! Our little Tigers had a blast listening to Christmas stories, sharing their favorite Christmas decorations and ornaments, and telling us about special Christmas traditions they celebrate at home! Thank you to everyone who participated and to NEHS Advisor Ms. Ana Sirabionian for organizing this fun and festive event to benefit the Armenian Relief Society’s Christmas Toy Drive for the children of Artsakh.
