Accreditation

Chamlian Armenian School has upheld its status with full accreditation from the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) since 1983, a testament to our enduring commitment to excellence in education. In our most recent accreditation review in 2020, Chamlian was awarded another full 6-year accreditation — an achievement made more notable by the fact that it was granted with no requirement for a mid-cycle visit. This distinction is awarded to only 15% of schools nationwide, underscoring the remarkable quality of our academic program and operational standards.

The meticulous and research-driven criteria set by WASC are designed to foster educational excellence and recognize institutions that not only achieve but surpass levels of quality educational provision. Chamlian's consistent accreditation since 1983 showcases our dedication to delivering an exceptional academic environment that nurtures lifelong learners and ethical citizens. Our students emerge with a strong character, an in-depth appreciation for the Armenian language, culture, heritage, and are well-prepared for higher education and the world beyond.

By articulating and implementing an academic vision that places student well-being and preparedness at its core, Chamlian continues to meet and indeed exceed the benchmark standards set before us. Our entire community takes pride in this achievement and remains committed to a future of continued excellence and innovation in education.
