Chamlian students dressed in red, white and blue today to commemorate the 15th anniversary of 9/11. September 11th Assembly organized by 8th grade students, Ms. Evelyn & Ms. Tamar. Sept 11th...Chamlian Remembers & Honors!

On Thursday, September 7th, the 7th graders went on an overnight retreat. The purpose of the trip is for students to work on team building skills, learn about conflict resolution strategies and positive mindset, build a stronger connection to their Armenian culture, and have fun while forming valuable friendships and creating lasting bonds.

On Friday, September 8th, 3rd grade had a special assembly from Glendale's School Board member and Chamlian alumni, Shant Sahakian. Mr. Sahakian shared his experience working for the local government and discussed his role for improving our public schools. The assembly concluded with a Q & A session. Thank you Mr. Sahakian for inspiring students in taking an active role in our own community!

Kindergarten went on a special tour today to Melanie’s Garden to pick out the variety of vegetables growing in their own playground. Mr. Emil, our Director of Facilities, led the adventure and shared knowledge on the different types of vegetables sprouting on our school campus!

On Monday, August, 21, 2017, Chamlian Armenian School's administration, faculty and staff welcomed students back to school with a special opening ceremony, marking the school's 43rd academic year.

School staff and administration welcomed our students by marking their first memories at Chamlian with their own personal hand print on our Tree Wall. Students also enjoyed their recess time on our campus' new mini amphitheater, a tricycle lane path, and two new basketball courts in the upper yard, called the Marzadasht.

Welcoming our New Kindergartners to Chamlian! Today marked the official opening of our new Chamlian Kindergarten program. Each kindergartner signed their name on our tree branch wall, preserving their first memories at Chamlian!

On Monday, August 14th, 2017, Chamlian Armenian School marked the official opening of a newly-constructed Kindergarten classroom, garden, playgrounds and multiple other improvements to our campus.

Chamlian Kicks off our First Annual Summer Bridge Project Based Learning (PBL) camp to incoming 1st through 5th graders from August 7th-11th. Project Based Learning (PBL) is a method where students explore realistic problems, through an integrated approach to produce a solution.

Please join us at the unveiling ceremony on Monday, August 14 at 6:00 PM. to celebrate special new additions to our Chamlian Campus. Following the ceremony, we will hold a light reception.
