Mrs. Gohar Ayrapetyan
Hello! My enthusiasm for teaching is deeply rooted in a strong background in psychology and curriculum instruction. I hold a B.A. in Psychology from California State University, Northridge, and an M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction, which together have shaped my ability to create engaging, effective, and inclusive learning experiences.
I began my career as a private tutor, working with students for nearly two decades to build academic skills and confidence. I then served as a lead teacher, focusing on early childhood education and fostering a love of learning from the earliest years. As a volunteer, I have been a passionate advocate for inclusive play spaces, ensuring that all children have opportunities to connect and grow. My journey eventually brought me to teaching in the elementary grades, where I have had the privilege of working with both 3rd and 5th grade students, applying forward-thinking educational practices to inspire and challenge them.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, reading, writing, baking, and maintaining an active lifestyle to stay energized and creative. Inspired by the words of Malala Yousafzai, “One child, one teacher, one book, one pen can change the world,” I am dedicated to guiding each student to unlock their potential and imagine a future full of possibilities.
