Ms. Lora Thomasian

I have the privilege of working at Chamlian Armenian School, where I have supported students in kindergarten through 3rd grade as a Teacher’s Assistant, led afterschool art and craft activities, and taught during summer school. My experiences also extend to youth leadership as a scout leader and assistant, where I developed a passion for guiding and inspiring children beyond the classroom.

 

My love for working with children and creating engaging learning experiences has shaped my approach to education, one that blends care, creativity, and a commitment to helping each child grow.

 

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family, walking, traveling, and making art with epoxy. I am inspired by the words of W. E. B. DuBois: “Education must not simply teach work—it must teach life.”
