On September 25 students watched 'CNN Student News' or 'Channel One News' and answered questions about its structure. Worksheets were done in class but also assigned as homework if they weren't finished. For each class period passed the due date that a student turned in the assignment late, they lost 10 points.

*Students with a 50% on MMS Portal have yet to turn in their assignment. They have had many chances to turn it in to me or put it in my box in the office. I have decided to give them a 50% instead of a zero if the assignment is not turned in by the date provided below.

*Since October 16th is the last day of Quarter 1, I will accept electronic submissions of the assignment for a grade of 80%. The Assignment must be e-mailed to me by Tuesday October 20th, 11 AM. E-mail submissions only, do not leave it in my box in the office. No exceptions! Acceptable file formats are as follows: .doc, .docx, .pdf, .jpg, .png, .tiff. The worksheet is available below in a PDF file and also a Word Document (.docx is for mac and .doc for pc). 

 

If for whatever reason you can not download the file, use a different browser or e-mail me and let me know so that I can send it to you. I will respond within 24 Hours. I will also make it available on MMS Portal for parents.

Hi! This short survey will be taken during class. Student feedback is very important and essential to the teaching process. 

 

This is the study guide for Quiz 1 that is scheduled for October 2nd.

 

The quiz will be multiple choice and fill-in answers.

 

Since most of the you did well on the "Kahoot!" interactive quizzes we did in class, this quiz shouldn't be difficult.
