Chamlian Armenian School's Character Counts Crew celebrated International Day Of Happiness, by providing each student with a specially decorated Easter Egg note with happy and kind words. NEHS Grant Proposal

Chamlian students join the ANCA in an attempt to secure a grant for STEM education in Armenia. NEHS members visited 7th and 8th grade classes for a call to action! The students read a letter addressed to Secretary of Treasury, and Vice-Chair of the Millennium Challenge Corporation Board of Directors, Steven Mnuchin.

Annual Kaham Games Closing Ceremony

We are so proud of our Chamlian Tigers for their hard work, determination and sportsmanship during the Kaham games! We are excited to announce that Chamlian teams were victorious in many sports categories and were recognized during the closing ceremonies. The school won 33 trophies in all and best overall in Basketball (1st place), Soccer (2nd place), Track and Field (2nd place) Volleyball (2nd place), and Chess (3rd place)

8th Grade Visit to Prelacy

On Thursday, March 15, 2018, the 8th grade class of Vahan and Anoush Chamlian School visited the Prelacy to receive the blessings of H.E. Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian, Prelate, prior to embarking on their pilgrimage to Armenia. The sixty-two students were accompanied by Dr. Talin Kargodorian, Principal, Mrs. Rita Kaprielian, Vice-Principal, Armenian teachers and a group of parents.

Special Visit from Artsakh

On Tuesday, March 13, 2018, the Primate of Artsakh Archbishop Barkev Martirosyan visited Chamlian Armenian School, accompanied by His Emminence Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian of the Western Prelacy. Our 7th and 8th graders welcomed the distinguished guests with poetry recitations and a reading dedicated to the brave soldiers of Artsakh. Our spiritual leaders then shared a message of hope and patriotism for our homeland and invited students to visit Artsakh.

3rd Grade Book Release Party!

Each third grade class wrote and published an All About Us book. On Friday, March 2nd, students were treated like celebrity authors with a red carpet and a paparazzi photo shoot . Students shared their class book with students from the other class sections in the Anita Torosian Literacy and Resource Center.
