Ms. Meri Telalyan
I am proud to call Chamlian Armenian School my home, where I have had the privilege of working closely with children, helping them build strong foundational skills in math, science, and critical thinking. My approach to teaching emphasizes patience, creativity, and a deep commitment to each student’s growth and confidence. Both as an educator and as a mother, I understand the importance of creating a supportive, inclusive environment where all children can thrive. Contributing to our school’s warm, vibrant culture, one that feels like an extended family, is one of the most fulfilling parts of my work.
I hold a Certification in TESOL/TESL/TEFL from Oxford Seminars; a Multiple-Subject Teaching Credential from National University, La Jolla, CA; a Master of Arts in Cross-Cultural Education from National University, La Jolla, CA; and a Bachelor of Arts in Global and International Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara. I also earned a Certification in French Language, Literature, and History from Université de Paris IV, La Sorbonne, in Paris, France.
Outside of Chamlian, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family. I am passionate about traveling and exploring new places, sharing these experiences with my loved ones. I also love to cook and garden.
