Ms. Selin Malekian
Hello, I am Ms. Selin! I have been a part of the Chamlian family for several years. During this time, I have had the pleasure of working with students of all ages, though my greatest passion lies in working with our younger learners. I find it truly fulfilling to support students in their educational growth and to be part of their learning journey. As a teacher, I strive to create an encouraging and positive classroom environment that nurtures the wonderfully curious minds of my students. It is both an honor and a joy to be an educator.
I hold a Master’s Degree in Education with an emphasis in Creative Literacies from California State University, Los Angeles, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with an emphasis in English from California State University, Northridge. My teaching experience includes serving as a teacher’s assistant across multiple grade levels, working as a substitute teacher, and now teaching first grade.
Outside the classroom, I am always on the hunt for the coziest coffee shop or cafe, the perfect cup of coffee, and the most delicious slice of pizza. I also enjoy visiting museums, botanical gardens, exploring interior design, thrifting, and writing.
