Ms. Lilian Bastikian
I am deeply passionate about my students and my work at Chamlian, where nurturing young minds and witnessing their growth has been the highlight of my career. This is my fifth year teaching 4th grade, and I am always inspired by the enthusiasm and curiosity my students bring as we embark on each new learning adventure together. The opportunity to create a positive impact within this community is what drives me every day.
I hold an M.A. in Integrative STEM Education, a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, and a B.A. in Child and Adolescent Development. My experience includes enriching 4th grade minds at Chamlian, guiding 2nd graders’ learning journeys, gaining versatile classroom experience as a K–12 substitute teacher, and beginning my career in early childhood education as a preschool assistant.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy hiking, camping, practicing yoga, exploring new places, and spending time with animals. Guided by the belief that education’s true goal is to foster “intelligence plus character,” I am committed to encouraging my students to think both intensively and critically, preparing them for a future of informed and compassionate citizenship.
