Mrs. Noushig Iskenderian-Hairabedian
My name is Noushig Iskenderian-Hairabedian, and I became part of the Chamlian family as a parent. From the very beginning, I felt at home, inspired by the love, care, and strong Armenian values at the school. I later joined the staff as a Teacher’s Assistant and have had the joy of working with students in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades. Supporting their everyday learning, watching them grow, and helping them discover their potential has been one of the most rewarding parts of my life.
I was born and raised in Aleppo, where I grew up in an Armenian family that instilled in me a deep appreciation for language, culture, and community. My passion for education and working with children was shaped by years of volunteer service with Armenian organizations such as ARS and Homenetmen, as well as my time as a scout counselor at summer camps and a member of the ARS Educational Committee. These experiences strengthened my commitment to fostering learning environments where children feel supported, engaged, and connected to their heritage.
I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the University of Aleppo’s School of Economics, along with certifications in various professional fields. I am proud to be part of a school where students can learn, grow, and stay connected to their roots, not only as a parent and educator, but as someone dedicated to preserving our Armenian identity through education.
