Ms. Patille Kalachian
I am a proud Chamlian alumna with a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Communication Design from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. My passion for creativity has shaped my journey as an educator, beginning with teaching afterschool art classes that fostered creativity and self-expression, followed by private tutoring in multiple subjects for grades K–6, where I tailored lessons to meet individual needs. I later served as a teacher’s assistant for kindergarten and first grade at Chamlian, integrating my love for art and design into early education.
Today, I bring that same enthusiasm and artistic approach to my role as the STEAM teacher for grades 3–8, where I strive to spark curiosity, encourage problem-solving, and inspire innovation in every lesson. My experiences in art, design, and individualized instruction have helped me create engaging, hands-on learning environments where students can explore, create, and apply their skills in meaningful ways.
Beyond the classroom, I enjoy art, design, camping, traveling, and making memories with family and friends, pursuits that not only recharge me but also enrich my teaching by reminding me of the importance of creativity, exploration, and community.
