Mrs. Elya Balassanian

I bring years of experience in both music teaching and performance, with a B.A. in Music Performance and Teaching from Komitas State Conservatory in Yerevan and an M.A. in Music Performance from Azusa Pacific University. Drawing from over 20 years as a music teacher and church organist, as well as experience as a preschool teacher, I aim to inspire students to explore their creativity, develop their skills, and discover the joy that music can bring.

Outside of teaching, I enjoy kickboxing, traveling, and spending time with my family. I believe deeply that “music is the strongest form of magic” and find inspiration in the words of Victor Hugo: “Music expresses that which cannot be said and on which it is impossible to be silent.”
