Ms. Pauline Minassian
Hello! My name is Pauline Minassian, and I am thrilled to be part of the Athletic Department at Chamlian Armenian School this year. I have previously served as a teacher’s assistant for first and third grade at Chamlian, and I bring experience as a Lead Instructor and Coach, teaching gymnastics to children ages 4 months to 12 years old and coaching basketball for approximately four years.I believe physical education is more than just movement. It’s about confidence, perseverance, joy, and sportsmanship- skills that last a lifetime.
Educational Background: I hold a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Exercise Science and am currently pursuing my Master of Science in Educational Leadership. This training helps me adapt activities to meet each child’s developmental needs so all students can succeed.
Interests and Hobbies: Outside of teaching, I enjoy listening to music and podcasts, Lagree, hiking, painting, reading, and watching movies—especially the Harry Potter series.
As Albus Dumbledore once said, “We are only as strong as we are united, as weak as we are divided.” I believe teamwork and unity are just as important in physical education as they are in life, and I strive to instill that mindset in my students.
