Ms. Marlene Degirmendjian

I hold a B.A. in Liberal Arts and a California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, which have equipped me with the skills and knowledge to guide students through engaging and meaningful learning experiences. I currently teach junior high English, where I work to inspire a love of literature, strengthen writing skills, and encourage critical thinking. Over the course of my career, I have taught Pre-K and Kindergarten English, 5th grade English and Social Studies, and served as a 5th grade homeroom teacher covering all subjects. Each role has strengthened my passion for fostering curiosity, building strong academic foundations, and supporting students’ social and emotional growth.

 

Outside of teaching, I enjoy reading, writing, traveling, and spending quality time with my family.
