Mrs. Nairy Garabetian
My name is Nairy Garabetian and I am honored to be the 4th grade lead teacher. As a lead teacher, my role extends beyond the confines of the classroom; it involves guiding and supporting other teachers, collaborating with the administration to implement curriculum standards, and fostering an environment that promotes learning, creativity, and emotional growth among all students. I currently hold a Master of Arts in Teaching from USC alongside a journey towards obtaining a multiple subject credential. My education in Public Health Policy from UC Irvine and an M.A. in Public Health from CSUN has uniquely positioned me to contribute meaningfully to the education sector, particularly in promoting healthy, informed lifestyles among the youth. My teaching experience is broad, spanning from Kindergarten to 5th grade. At Chamlian Armenian School, I have taught 4th grade English subjects, 1st grade English subjects, and have also served as a lead teacher.

Beyond the classroom, I enjoy traveling and exploring new cultures, which broaden my perspective and enrich my teaching. I value spending time with students outside of academics, as getting to know them personally is both meaningful and rewarding. Moments with family and friends are especially important to me, as is beginning my day with a favorite Starbucks coffee. I also love discovering new restaurants and savoring the joy of culinary adventures.
Inspired by Kofi Annan's belief, "Knowledge is power. Information is liberating. Education is the premise of progress, in every society, in every family," I am committed to not just teaching but empowering my students with the knowledge and skills to thrive both in the classroom and beyond.
