Mrs. Arda Kassabian

I hold a B.S. in Biochemistry with an emphasis on biology, a foundation that has fueled my passion for both science and teaching. With a strong background in scientific research, I bring real-world connections into the classroom to make learning engaging and relevant for my students.

Over the years, I have taught science across multiple grade levels, including 5th through 8th grade, and have also introduced technology to 1st through 3rd graders. I strive to create a classroom environment filled with positive energy, empathy, and opportunities for students to think outside the box. I especially enjoy sharing current scientific articles and discoveries with my students, often turning them into hands-on projects and experiments that spark curiosity and deepen understanding.

Outside of teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, parenting my daughters’ dog, Toothless, and reading the latest scientific findings. I live by the belief that "Science is a way of thinking much more than it is a body of knowledge.” – Carl Sagan
