Vahan Mehrabian

Ազգ իմ որքան նկուն մնաս, սիրտս, սիրտս քեզանից չի զատուի։

 

Teaching has always been my passion, and I consider it a privilege to guide students in discovering the richness of our language, literature, and history. I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree from the Armenian Studies branch of the Faculty of Foreign Languages at Isfahan State University. Since 2001, I have been teaching Armenian Language, Literature, and History for grades 6, 7, and 8 at Chamlian Armenian School, where I also serve as the Head of the Eastern Armenian Department.

 

Beyond the classroom, I have contributed to the field of Armenian studies as co-author of the Armenian Language textbook for the Mariamian Davtyan Institute, co-author of Dr. Armen Hakhnazaryan’s study The Churches and History of New Julfa (published in Italy), and author of the Dictionary of Armenian Proper Names. I have also written and directed the theatrical work Mshagokh and Mshakuyt.

 

In my free time, I enjoy reading, traveling, and pursuing research in linguistics and Armenian onomastics (the study of names). I am deeply committed to passing on Armenian culture, traditions, and values to the next generation.
