Tomik Iranosian
I am deeply committed to fostering student success through sports and physical education, bringing decades of experience in the education and public/non-profit sector. As the Athletic Director and Physical Education Teacher at Chamlian Armenian School, I am passionate about developing comprehensive athletic programs, promoting health and fitness, and nurturing the full potential of student-athletes both in the classroom and in the community.
I hold a Master of Arts in Athletics Administration and Coaching from Concordia University, a Bachelor of Science in Applied Business Management from Grand Canyon University, and an Associate of Science in Fire Science from Rio Hondo College. I am also a proud member of the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (NIAAA) as a Certified Athletic Administrator.
My career has included leadership and teaching role for students from kindergarten through high school, as well as coaching varsity basketball at Glendale High School and playing college basketball at Rio Hondo College and Cal State La. I have experience in non-profit leadership at Burbank Community YMCA for many years as I managed sports programs, coordinated events, and guided physical education programs that emphasize teamwork, discipline, and personal growth. My background also includes community-based sports leadership experience with a professional sports organization such as La Clippers internship program, which have further strengthened my ability to inspire students and build programs that connect athletics to lifelong skills.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, playing basketball, and cheering on my favorite teams—Kansas Basketball and the LA Clippers. I also make it a priority to volunteer in the community, giving back to the networks and organizations that have shaped my own life and career.
