Ms. Ana Sirabionian

As Director of Curriculum and Instruction at Vahan & Anoush Chamlian Armenian School, I have the privilege of combining my passion for teaching with my commitment to educational excellence. With over 20 years of experience in education and as a proud member of the Chamlian community since 2015, I am dedicated to fostering a dynamic, forward-thinking academic program that supports both students and educators.

• Master of Arts in Education, Pepperdine University
• California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential with CLAD (Cross-Cultural, Language, and Academic Development), Pepperdine University, cleared by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing

I began my career in education in 2005, teaching middle and high school students in English Language Arts, Creative Writing, and Social Studies courses. My student teaching experience through my graduate and credentialing program further reinforced my belief in the transformative power of education and inspired a lifelong commitment to instructional excellence.

From 2008 to 2015, I taught a wide range of ELA courses, from Honors to Advanced Placement, while developing University of California and College Board-approved curricula. Throughout my career, I have also taught Speech and Debate, Journalism, Theater, and other enrichment courses designed to cultivate communication, creativity, and leadership. In addition to classroom instruction, I have served as Student Council Advisor and National Honor Society Advisor, helping students grow academically, socially, and as leaders within their school communities.

At Chamlian, I plan, facilitate, and oversee curriculum development, instructional initiatives, assessment programs, accreditation efforts, and faculty professional learning. My goal is to ensure that every student experiences a rigorous, engaging, and meaningful education while empowering teachers with resources, collaboration, and support.
