Ms. Aline Yaghjian

Hello! I'm Ms. Aline Yaghjian, and I have the privilege of teaching 5th grade Math and Science at Chamlian Armenian School. With over nine years of teaching experience, my passion for these subjects continues to grow, and I strive to inspire that same enthusiasm in each of my students. My goal is to create an engaging, supportive, and purposeful learning environment where students not only understand what they are learning, but also why it matters and how they can apply it in meaningful ways. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Family and Consumer Sciences from California State University, Northridge, and my Master of Arts in Teaching from Azusa Pacific University. 

As we prepare students for a rapidly changing world, I believe it is essential to cultivate adaptability, creativity, collaboration, and a growth mindset alongside strong academic foundations. My goal is to equip students with the skills and confidence to embrace challenges, think independently, and become lifelong learners who are prepared to make meaningful contributions in the future. Beyond teaching, I enjoy cooking, staying active through fitness, traveling, exploring new places, and spending quality time with family and friends. These experiences continually remind me of the value of curiosity, resilience, and lifelong learning—qualities I hope to instill in every student.
