Ms. Kerrie Fitzpatrick
I began my journey at Chamlian Armenian School as a fourth-grade teacher. After a brief time away, I returned to California with a strong desire to rejoin the Chamlian community, which has always felt like home. Since my return, I have been proudly teaching fifth grade. Alongside my classroom role, I also lead the school’s after-school program, Beyond the Bell.
I hold a B.A. in Psychology from California State University, Sacramento, and have also taught fifth-grade social studies, worked as an instructional assistant in special education, served as a substitute teacher, and supported student learning in various settings. These experiences have deepened my commitment to creating an environment where honesty, integrity, and independence are valued, and where every child is encouraged to grow into a confident, curious thinker.
Outside of school, I enjoy traveling, exploring new foods, watching movies, and spending time outdoors. I believe every child has a beautiful mind and brings something unique to our learning community, guided by the words: "Learning lights the way. Confidence walks the path. Kindness leads us all home."
