Mrs. Anna Arakelian

Welcome! My name is Anna Arakelian, and I am honored to serve as a fourth-grade teacher at Chamlian Armenian School. As I begin my ninth year at Chamlian, I remain grateful to be part of a school community that values academic excellence, innovation, integrity, and Armenian heritage.

Throughout my years in education, I have had the opportunity to teach multiple grade levels, with each experience strengthening my passion for helping students grow both academically and personally. My professional background also includes providing behavioral support for students with special needs. These experiences have helped me develop a patient, compassionate, and student-centered approach to teaching and learning.

I hold a Master’s Degree in Education and a California Teaching Credential, which have provided me with a strong foundation in child development, effective instructional practices, and creating meaningful learning experiences. My goal is to cultivate a classroom environment where students feel supported, challenged, and inspired to reach their fullest potential. I believe that every child is capable of success when they are encouraged to think critically, persevere through challenges, and take pride in their accomplishments.

Outside of school, I enjoy exploring new places, baking, reading, and spending quality time with my family.

I look forward to partnering with our students and families as we learn, grow, and make this school year a meaningful and successful one.
