Mrs. Emily Boghoskhan

Welcome! My name is Emily Boghoskhan, and I’m proud to serve as a third-grade teacher. As I begin my tenth year at Chamlian, I remain deeply grateful to be part of a school community that values academic excellence, character development, faith, and cultural identity. My background includes experience in both general and special education and behavioral intervention. These experiences have shaped my educational philosophy and strengthened my commitment to meeting the diverse needs of every learner. I strive to create a classroom environment where students feel safe, valued, challenged, and inspired to reach their fullest potential.

I hold a Master of Arts in Education and a teaching credential from USC, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Social Behavior from UC Irvine. My training and experience have provided me with a strong foundation in child development, differentiated instruction, and evidence-based teaching practices. In our classroom, students are encouraged to think critically, collaborate respectfully, persevere through challenges, and develop confidence in their abilities. I believe that meaningful learning occurs when students feel connected to their teacher, engaged in the learning process, and empowered to take ownership of their growth. My goal is not only to help students succeed academically, but also to foster curiosity, resilience, kindness, and a lifelong love of learning.

Beyond the classroom, I enjoy spending quality time with my family, cooking and baking, traveling, and creating lasting memories with my children. I also serve as a Sunday school teacher, where faith and community continue to play an important role in my life and the way I teach. I look forward to another wonderful year of learning, growth, and partnership with our students and families.
