Mrs. Emily Boghoskhan

Welcome! I’m Emily Boghoskhan, and I’m proud to serve as a third-grade teacher. With a background in behavioral intervention and special education, I bring a whole-child approach to the classroom, supporting both academic growth and emotional well-being. I’ve worked in general and special education settings, led faith-based children’s programs, and spent nearly a decade teaching at Chamlian Armenian School—a community I deeply value. These experiences have shaped my teaching philosophy and strengthened my commitment to helping every student feel seen, supported, and empowered to succeed.

I hold a Master of Arts in Education and a teaching credential from the University of Southern California, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Social Behavior from the University of California, Irvine. In our classroom, students are encouraged to think deeply, take risks, and treat one another with kindness. I believe children learn best when they feel safe, connected, and challenged.

Outside the classroom, I enjoy spending quality time with my family, cooking and baking, and exploring new places when we travel. I also love serving as a Sunday school teacher at my church, where faith and community continue to play an important role in my life and the way I teach.
