Mrs. Suzy Pashayan
As a passionate music educator, I am dedicated to nurturing the next generation of Armenian musicians. My love for both music and my Armenian heritage drives me to create a learning environment where students not only master musical skills but also connect deeply with the rich cultural traditions of Armenia.
I am proud to teach at Chamlian Armenian School, where I have the opportunity to instill a profound appreciation for our culture in my students. My approach goes beyond technical skill, I focus on intertwining music education with cultural awareness, believing that this inspires students to become Armenians who cherish and actively preserve their heritage. My ultimate goal is to leave a lasting impact on their lives, helping them develop a strong sense of identity and pride in their roots.
I hold a B.A. in Music from Armenian State Pedagogical University, Early Childhood Education credentials from Pasadena City College, and a Master Teacher Permit in Music. My professional experience includes years of teaching early childhood music, working in preschool education, and currently teaching music to Kindergarten through 6th grade students at Chamlian, fostering a love of creative expression through music.
Outside of teaching, I cherish time with my family, whether cooking together, traveling to explore new places, or simply enjoying each other’s company. I also enjoy shopping for unique finds, listening to music, and exploring the works of different artists.
