Read Across America Day!

Fifteen Chamlian alumni volunteered to be guest readers for Kindergarten through 5th grade students. All readers read popular Dr. Seuss titles to their classes. The first grade students wore their hand-made Dr. Seuss hats as they listened to Green Eggs and Ham and were later treated to a special breakfast of green eggs and ham to celebrate the special occasion.
At 2:00 P.M., with an enthusiastic greeting over the intercom, the whole school was invited to “Drop Everything and Read” to honor Dr. Seuss and celebrate reading.
We extend our appreciation to our guest readers and the entire Chamlian family for making Read Across America Day a success!
