Athletes arrived on campus dressed in their “Marzig” t-shirts, accompanied by their families dressed in Chamlian colors, everyone showing their Tiger Pride. It was an eventful evening, with hamburgers prepared by The Habit Grill, served by our PAC members and Soft Serve Ice Cream Truck for an added treat, followed by Athlete and Coach Appreciation Ceremonies held in our school Gym in two (2) sessions: one for our Kindergarten/1st grade through 4th Grade athletes and another for our 5th Grade through 8th Grade athletes.
Upon entering the gym, Chamlian’s Athletic Director, Coach Tomik Iranosian, welcomed all the athletes, parents, and students to the Tiger’s Sports Night. In appreciation, each team coach was presented with a gift thanking them for their dedication and hard work to the school’s athletic program. All school teams were recognized and given their medals for their participation in this year’s KAHAM Games. In addition, each athlete earned lapel pins representing the sports they participated in. This is an ongoing tradition for our Chamlian athletes, aimed at encouraging students to participate in health and fitness and collect pins every year to be adorned on their graduation stoles.
Dr. Kargodorian also expressed her gratitude to all the members of PAC for their hard work and dedication. She also thanked our Athletic Director, coaches, and all the wonderful athletes for an amazing season and expressed that she was proud of Chamlian’s school spirit and the positive sportsmanship of all the athletes.
We would like to extend our utmost appreciation to PAC members for organizing a very successful event, as well as the coaches, athletes and parents for their tireless efforts all season long.
