School Safety

 

At Chamlian Armenian School, student safety and well-being take precedence. Our campus features comprehensive security measures, including secured gates, surveillance cameras throughout the facility, and dedicated security personnel. These personnel are on duty before, during, and after school hours.

 

Visitor Protocol: Chamlian is a closed campus to maintain safety and minimize disruptions. All guests, including parents, must have an appointment to enter. Upon arrival, all visitors are required to check in with our security personnel.

 

Readiness for Emergencies: Our faculty and staff are continuously trained to handle a range of emergency situations, including natural disasters and critical incidents. We are equipped with extensive emergency packages, designed to sustain our school family for three days if needed. Additionally, we partner with the Glendale Fire Department to conduct regular safety drills, ensuring our preparedness is comprehensive and up-to-date.

 

Partnership with Local Authorities: We maintain a strong collaborative relationship with both the Glendale Police and Fire Departments. This partnership not only keeps us informed about the latest in safety practices but also ensures we have immediate support in times of need, keeping our school community alert and safeguarded.

 

Dedicated Supervision: From arrival to departure, we strive to maintain a secure and nurturing atmosphere. Our goal is to foster an environment where every Chamlian Tiger can grow and thrive.

 

Structured After-School Dismissal: Student pick up is organized at the upper Basketball Courts, designated as our official pick up zone. We ask parents to remain in this specific area to facilitate a smooth and secure dismissal process. Accessing other campus areas requires a pre-scheduled appointment.
