Ուսուցիչների գնահատման շաբաթուայ առիթով, թեմիս բարեխնամ առաջնորդ՝ Թորգոմ Եպս․Տօնոյեանի նախաձեռնութեամբ ազգային վարժարանների Հ․Լ․-ի ուսուցիչները հրաւիրուել էին Առաջնորդարան, ուր ներկայ էին նաեւ Թեմական Խորհրդի, Կրօնական Դասի եւ Խնամակալ Մարմնի ներկայացուցիչները, որոնք շնորհակալական եւ դրուատանքի խօսքեր փոխանցեցին ներկաներին;
Սրբազան Հայրը նիւթական համեստ ձօնով եւ բարձր գնահատանքի խօսքերով աւարտեց հանդէսը։

We thank everyone who participated in our Chamlian Strategic Planning Commitee for our two day conference! A special thank you to Dr. Doug Domene for his expertise and guidance throughout this process. Our Strategic Plan was created collaboratively through the efforts of all stakeholders: students, alumni, teachers, administration, staff, board, and parents. Our 8th graders went to the special premier of the movie “Songs of Solomon”! This film is a depiction of the life and music of Komitas Vardapet, an Armenian composer, ethnomusicologist, and priest, who lived during the years of the Armenian Genocide. It is a film about resilience and resistance that beautifully highlights the Armenian spirit while simultaneously displaying the sounds and music that represent our people and country.

The movie was also all in Armenian! It was filmed mostly in Artsakh, primarily in Shushi and in Armenia. It was Armenia’s official selection for the 93rd Academy Awards in the Best International Feature Film category. 🎥🎞🇦🇲 #SongsofSolomon #Movie ##8thGrade #FieldTrip

Շամլեան Վարժարանի աշակերտները յիշում են եւ պահանջում։ Our First Grade students commemorated the 107th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide at the Western Prelacy of the Armenian Apostolic Church. Chamlian Armenian School thanks His Grace Archbishop Torkom Donoyan for hosting our students and encouraging them to carry on the torch of the Armenian people. Our 6th graders’ trip to Fresno/Sacramento continues! From visiting the wonderful Santikian Farms, to Holy Trinity Armenian Apostolic Church, which is the first Armenian Church on the West Coast, to the statue of David of Sassoun, the Soghomon Tehlirian Memorial, and the California State Railroad Museum, it’s safe to say our travelers are having a fantastic time and learning a lot along the way! 💙🐯 #6thGrade #Fresno #Sacramento #Traveling #ChamlianPride #ChamlianFamily

Մեր վարժարանի 6-րդ դասարանի աշակերտները այսօր պատիւը ունեցան հանդեպելու Հայկական համայնքի սիւն համարւող եւ ձեռնառատ նուիրատուներ՝ Տէր եւ Տիկին Վահան եւ Անուշ Շամլեաններին, որոնց անունն է հպարտութեամբ կրում մեր վարժարանը։ Մեր խորին շնորհակալութիւններն ենք յայտնում յարգարժան ընտանիքին, իրենց շարունակական հովանաւորութեան եւ մեր 6-րդ դասարանի աշակերտների հիւրընկալութեան համար։

Մեր աշակերտները ճամբորդելով Ֆրեզնօ եւ Սակրամենտօ հաճոյքով են սովորում հայկական համայնքների եւ պատմական կոթողների մասին։

Our 6th grade students had the honor of visiting Mr. and Mrs. Vahan and Anoush Chamlian, pillars of the Armenian community and the generous benefactors for which our school proudly bears the names of. We thank Mr. and Mrs. Chamlian for their continued support of our school as well as hosting our 6th grade students as they continue to enjoy their trip to Fresno and Sacramento, learning about the Armenian communities and historic landmarks along the way. 💙🐯

Our first grade students had a blast on their visit to Underwood Family Farms, which features an educational animal presentation and a vintage tractor drawn wagon ride around the farm! Our 8th graders enjoyed their outing at Keush Ranch, creating new memories that will continue to cement the lifelong Chamlian bond. From a dissection project, to the Build-A-Tiger activity, to a fascinating educational, Poetry in the Park, and team building exercises, it’s safe to say our graduating class had an unforgettable day! Chamlian Armenian School had the distinct pleasure of welcoming Mr. Artur Khachatryan, MP of the "Hayastan" faction of the Armenian National Assembly. Mr. Khachatryan met with the graduating 8th Grade class and shared updates about Artsakh and Armenia. The students were moved by his relatable and inspiring talk and engaged in a Q & A session regarding the recent events that transpired in our Homeland.
